The VEGA does not compete with common sector panel antennas. The VEGA presents network planners and optimizers with a new and unique tool specially designed for cellular networks. By using VEGA antennas in the cellular network, the operator can gain a significant savings of base stations and repeaters at a fraction of their cost.

These specially designed dish antennas provide extremely high gain over standard sector antennas, exceptionally narrow beam width with very low side and back lobes and ±45° dual polarization diversity. The VEGA is modular, compactly packaged for easy low cost transport and simple assembly on site. The VEGA‘s low wind load, highly transparent mesh construction insures low environmental impact. All these features combine to enable these unique BTS antennas to offer an interesting, innovative coverage solution for high gain narrow beam application requirements such as remote rural communities, difficult to serve mountainous areas, long stretches of highways and railroads, areas requiring very low spatial interference and many other situations.
